Capturing Co Wheels’ Launch in Brighton: My Latest Shoot
Recently, I had the pleasure of working on an exciting project for Co Wheels, a car-sharing club that has just made its debut on the vibrant streets of Brighton. As a commercial photographer in Sussex, every shoot is different and allows me to use my years of experience creating some eye-catching imagery for their marketing department.
The Brief
The goal was simple yet impactful: highlight the sleek and eco-friendly Co Wheels vehicle in carefully chosen locations around Brighton, emphasising iconic landmarks and the city's unique vibe. The images were intended to capture the eco lifestyle appeal of car-sharing while celebrating Brighton’s eclectic energy.
The Locations
Brighton offers an incredible array of backdrops, making it a dreamy location for any professional photographer in Sussex. From the seafront beach huts to the bustling Brighton Pier, the city provided a perfect canvas. I also sought out lesser-known yet picturesque spots to balance iconic sights with hidden gems such as the new Reading room. However, as a City that encourages pedestrians I was limited to where I could take the vehicle so the pavilion, for example was off limits.
The Shoot
Brighton's unpredictable weather kept me on my toes, but luckily the sun came out and with a mix of wide-angle shots to incorporate Brighton’s architecture and closer compositions this would allow the marketing department to drop in text for Instagram reels and for use as wide banners on their website.
Why This Shoot Stood Out
