Today I am pleased to announce that my image taken in Brazil has been chosen for the AOP Awards Open exhibition to take place at the Truman Brewery, Brick lane in London. No doubt there will be stiff competition but as always, I am just happy to have been chosen among many entries. This was shot in Santos in the State of Sao Paulo one of the busiest shipping docks in the Country. This is where most of the Brazilian Coffee ends up to be shipped across the world. Just out of view the huge shipping container vessels steam up and down on a daily basis. The boys were from the area you can see in the background just the other side of Santos. UPDATE As always, Photography is a subjective medium so the judging didn’t go my way this time! However, great to see my shot was included in the AOP publication IMAGE and the official AOP Awards book.
